About Synapse Academic School

Synapse Academic School is an online learning provider offering Advanced Placement (AP) courses to high school students across North America. Founded by educators and published authors in the AP space, we combine rigorous College Board–aligned curriculum with a visual-first teaching methodology that makes complex concepts accessible and memorable.

No. All courses are delivered online. Synapse Academic School welcomes students from across North America. Live sessions are scheduled in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

AP Exams are administered at authorized test centers. If your local school offers AP exams, you may be able to arrange to test there. Synapse Academic School can help you identify a test center near you.

A reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet, and a webcam for live sessions. All course materials are provided digitally.

Synapse Academic School is an online AP learning provider. Our courses are designed to meet the curricular requirements of the College Board AP Course Audit. We are in the process of completing the AP Course Audit for our offered courses.

AP Career Kickstart is a College Board initiative that combines AP-level academics with career-ready credentials. AP Business with Personal Finance and AP Cybersecurity are both Career Kickstart courses.
